Hello
My name (in Second Life) is Livi Evergarden and I have been a resident since 2006.
I spend my time here helping newcomers at various Gateways, I love to create (photography, building, making posters, writing) and I love the social aspect of Second Life.
The social aspect is what made me realize that a lot of people in the world has a need for counseling, and thus, I finally made this webpage.
I got an education in the field of coaching in 2004, and in 2021 I added a mentor education to my curriculum. I also work at an institution for young people aged 13-18 who have been removed from their home and have multiple diagnoses from all spectra.
On the personal level, please read my story below, if you want to know a bit more about Livi :o)
My Story
Working with traumatized children and teens have given me insight to a lot of different things people can battle with, and with proper education and training received during my time in this field, I have knowledge on theory as well as a number of tools that can help in any given case.
My most important tool is however my ability to listen. Sometimes just that someone listens will make it all seem a bit less horrible, when you can share your secrets, and talking about what is troubling will help just on and of its own.
Over the years I have helped a lot of people, and what I gather is valued when talking to me, be it counseling, telling a secret or therapy, is that I never judge. I might suggest a heading or action that could help, but I will not demand anything of you, you are not able to do. I don’t judge you for what you can’t do or for what you think you should have done. I can provide a fresh point of view, my thoughts and most importantly - I can ask you questions, to help you find the best way.
I would be honored if you gave me the chance to do so. Honored that you would trust me with your secrets. Honors I will repay with the following promise:
